WOW mind blowing here we are 9 months with are kids out if school @ltgovjoshgreen @govhawaii still keeping restrictions on residence, gatherings, sports, small business BUT don't worry come to hawaii right now and your kid can get an education not just virtually but physical as well thru most hotels. I'm not against reopening BUT I'm against the bullshit these guys keep instilling fear refusing to acknowledge our own children and residents suffering yet implementing so much time energy into selling us as the safest state while keeping locals locked down with fear of the fines citations arrest and business closures. This year is being ruined for many high school seniors like last years was , some who rely on sports as their only outlet to try and make a better life. Its fucken disgusting how these two continue to play us when is it gonna be enough? They used the cares act on all this bullshit yet couldn't put any into our children or local communities, they wanted the kids out of school so now they can implement a teachers pay cut and justify it. @ltgovjoshgreen & @govhawaii don't even address the issues with our keiki its non existent the news stations are silent. So if we don't start coming together no one else is gonna do it. For a visitor to have more of a right to an education while on a non essential vacation over our kids who can barely stay on the internet 20 min before getting logged out of an essential education is bullshit. Apparently covid is so smart it doesn't attack visitors but is deadly if you're a resident it can determine when you're walking to your table and when you sit down, it can't harm kids who don't live here, if you're at a resort pool you're safe but at the beach you may die. If you fly here with 50 people and have a conference you're safe but if you meet up with your brother and his kids for dinner you may die.
