#WATERFALLS @officialtlc . . So, as some of you may already know, I originally moved to Japan for music but had stopped due to some medical problems (I didn’t share that part with a lot of people). I was depressed and feeling so broken inside because it honestly felt like I’d NEVER get my voice back. I had originally planned to get throat surgery and use my time in NY to recover; but that was before finding out the problem was stemming from deeper than that; my lungs. After getting opinions from different doctors and not getting any better, I thought I had to walk away from all of it. My dreams, shattered. Being here in New York, especially under these circumstances, I have been able to rest and my voice is slowly but surely recovering. . To be honest, I was really hesitant to record and post this but I needed to do this for MYSELF; even though this is just a rap and not necessarily a singing vid, I needed to prove to myself that with time, practice, and a lil faith, I WILL get better. Let this validate the fact that you should NEVER GIVE UP on your passion or something you can’t go on a day without thinking about. #music . I’ll just take it one day at a time.
