Today I said goodbye to a very special someone. Every available memory resurfaced in complete contrast of that moment. Feelings of guilt, anger, pain, happiness and acceptance all volleying for control of the wheel. I’m numb. But even in what seems the darkest times, little miracles are still at work. As I prayed for her and her journey ahead, another prayer was answered. One that I’ve been waiting two years for. So grateful. Things don’t always make sense when you want them to.
