My buddy caught this capture of a moment that could possibly make history. “From a dramatic event which now turned and blossomed into a culture exchange” is what id call it. Some countries within this world fight similar battles and yet their surrounding eyes judge them how others judge our race of being “closed minded.” Hawaiians arent closed minded, they are a living culture with struggles every day that are hidden behind walls of a corperate political umbrella full of lies and fake smiles. Our politicians seem to condole the desecration of the land they swore in oath they would protect and mold into a better place. Well our fight for our 13 thousand foot high mountain top has spread to many foreign places and brought many people here including a soldier of resistance, the son of a human being who shed blood for peace and unity @damianmarley the one and only Gong-zilla is living proof that one man alone can help inspire unity and together we can win a war among battles. Spread love not war. Stand up for your rights! Our Hawaiian right is to protect our mountain and land we feed off of, we harvest food from, and enjoy this beauty with our families. To my friends who dont know, this gesture is called “Honi” which is similar to an american kiss. Hawaiians believed you shared aloha through a Honi which was the “breath of life” and spiritual mana (power) flowed from body to body within the colony by a simple gesture. Our colonies are real. Our presence is real. The world knows now. Hawaiians arent going anywhere. We fight for our aina.
