I took a day off from training yesterday and isolated myself in my office. Stayed off social media and let myself feel everything. Ever since I was a little kid, my imagination was my salvation. Whenever things got heavy I would disappear into a page, wall, canvas, napkin, desk, skin etc... they’re “shades of grey” that I can understand. A place where puzzle pieces connected. I haven’t painted in a long time. I would convince myself that I was “too busy” while supplementing my time on IG. Taking this quarantine time to reconnect with myself and come out of this a more conscious, and grounded human.
