E ho’omaha me ka maluhia ia ‘oe e ‘anakala Tito. you’ve been like a papa to me growing up being one if the best neighbors ever.
Every time I’d hear your “HHOOO!” Call out, I’d yell back and see if you needed something. And most times, you’d be calling to give me stuff. From the Baratos you’d stuff in my hands from your return trips from Vegas, telling me hide the money, no tell gramma dem lol. To Bringing da load of Avocados from the back yard, and all kine snacks and goodies for share with the family. And just walking around on your exercise routine to come over to talk story and share the old mo’olelo of the work camps, and letting it be known that PUEA is on the upside of Wai’anae Valley . My heart hurts for aunty and the family. Yet happy that you have no more pain. You’re most definitely gonna be missed, uncle. Mahalo for everything. Love you, forever. 🦈
